How Craftlings turns production into a puzzle

In Craftlings, a resource is never just a number in a menu. Someone has to gather it, carry it, process it, and get it to the place where it is needed.

Hello there, Ariano here.

Craftlings begins with a simple limitation: you do not pick up a worker and tell them exactly where to go. You build the conditions around them. A ladder opens a route. A filter changes who can pass. A building creates a new need somewhere else in the settlement.

The route is part of the answer

That turns every production chain into a spatial problem. Wood may be available, but can the right Craftling reach it? Can the material move through the settlement without blocking another job? Is the next building close enough, or does the whole route need to be redesigned?

Why visibility matters

When the system stops, the game gives you something concrete to inspect. Follow the workers. Find the point where the route breaks. Change the infrastructure and watch the consequences move through the little world.

That is the feeling Craftlings is built around: not simply placing a building, but understanding why the settlement works—and enjoying the moment when it finally does.
